Aldinga Beach Yoga ONLINE & STUDIO
My Aldinga Beach yoga classes are simultaneously live-streamed via Zoom.
You can participate from the comfort of your own home if the studio is full or if you can’t join us in person.
The classes are held on a property in the Aldinga Beach scrub, please follow these directions to get there.
For health & safety reasons, numbers in the studio are limited. You are requested to bring your own props. You can leave them there if you don’t need them between classes with me. Aside from a mat, you need a blanket, bolster, block and belt for the Yin and the Yin & Yang classes. For the Ashtanga and Hatha classes, a blanket and a block are usually enough. If you are not interested in buying your own props, you can rent them from me (limited availability). Contact me for more information.
Please note that the mentioned class times are in Adelaide time:
– ACST/UTC+9.30 from first Sunday in April
– ACDT/UTC+10.30 from first Sunday in October
Alding Beach Yoga Schedule
Booking is essential to receive the link to the online class or to secure your spot in the studio.
All bookings are marked as attended and charged accordingly, unless cancelled 60 minutes before the start of the class.
If you book (and even if you don’t attend), you receive a link to the recorded class the next day, which you access anytime as often as you want.
Please note that the recorded classes are strictly not demo-classes with a professional recording set up. They are recordings of me guiding the studio class with occasionally a model student on camera. Other students in the shala are off-camera and online students do not appear in the recording. You’ll hear me cueing individual students, online or in the shala and I’ll be moving around the studio so not always on screen.
Your first online class with me is free. Perfect to see if you are comfortable with the technology and my teaching style. All you need to do is book.
Online class passes need to be paid online with credit card or you can contact me for payment by bank transfer.
Studio class passes can be paid online with credit card, at the shala, preferably by card, or by bank transfer.
Other Yoga Studios
Aside from the Yoga Here & There classes, I also teach at various Adelaide and Fleurieu Peninsula-based yoga studios. Check the schedule below for all the options to practice with me.
To book any of the above classes, click on the studio logo below to be re-directed to their booking website.
While I’m in the Fleurieu, I run monthly Yin Yoga workshops, currently all online via Zoom. All time favourites are the Yin Yoga & the Chakras and Yin Yoga & Mandala Meditation workshop. The objective of my workshops is for you to enjoy an extra long practice and for me to share valuable information with you about a yoga-related topic. After the workshop, you feel relaxed and energised, spiritually lifted and a hopefully little more enlightened. All workshops are announced on Facebook and in my newsletter.
“An amazingly powerful and calming experience. The herbal tea and delicious bliss balls were a perfect way to finish a morning of meditation and mandala making. Can’t wait for the next one!”
~ Katrina B. from South Australia, April 2018
Are you a freshly certified yoga teacher but not sure you have the confidence to step on that mat in front of a class? I would be happy to help you get past those nerves. As a coach and teacher trainer, I have plenty of tricks up my sleeveless yoga top that I could share with you. A mentoring program includes free yoga classes with me, for you to observe and learn. Contact me to discuss how you would like to be mentored and we will build a program that suits your needs.
Every now and then, a very special collaboration with another yoga teacher or a local artist results in a unique event. We have had the Yoga Malas in Sellicks Beach (108 sun salutation on summer solstice), the Yoga & Vision Board Workshop and yoga sessions on the beach. These events make you realise that yoga is more than just exercise on a mat. It is about your place in the universe and your contribution to a sustainable and fruitful planet, about connection and inspiration and about dedication and respect. Keep an eye on my newsletter for these special happenings or contact me if you are looking for a collaborative contribution to your special public or private event.
“A beautiful practice in a picturesque location led by the harmonious tones of Yaisa and Jem. Thank you for hosting this event, it was serene. Namaste.”
~ Claire W. from South Australia, December 2017
